A Little More About Us...
At SEED Training, we believe that knowledge is the foundation of safety. Our goal is to provide engaging training experiences that empower your team to understand the 'How' and 'Why' of their actions. We are dedicated to promoting safety in the workplace and ultimately enhancing the well-being of your clients...AND your staff!
David, a former psychiatric nurse, residential social worker with children and young families, and countryside ranger, began his training career working with disillusioned and disenfranchised young adults aged 19 to 24 on the Government's 'New Deal' scheme. He then spent eight years as an in-house operational trainer and later as a training manager with several nationally established care companies. Additionally, David has served as an NVQ assessor and internal verifier and has been a visiting lecturer at local colleges. He founded SEED Training to inspire others and promote the core ethics and principles that drive him. David writes, designs, and compiles courses tailored to meet the specific criteria set by clients or external agencies and awarding bodies. Our aim is to excel in our field and transform the landscape of care, one establishment at a time.
SEED Training operates supportively and collaboratively by networking with many freelance trainers across the UK, undertaking our own 'due diligence' to ensure continuity of standards and develop new trainers. We are also proud and active supporters of Stoke Air Ambulance
Off-piste, David is a multiple-published author and a working and recording rock musician.
